The Lighting Thief is about Percy Jackson is a twelve year old boy with dyslexia and ADHD. That he went to a field trip with his math teacher, when he saw a ugly monster, that day his mom told him who he really is and who is his father is ” Poseidon”. He had to go to Camp Half Blood where he will be safe. Also they go their to get trained and to know how to fight.

 He, Annabeth and Grover are given ten days to return the thunderbolt to Mount Olympus in order to stop a war between the gods from starting and save his mother, who has been kept in the Underworld by Hades after being captured by the Minotaur. He finds out that Hades did not steal the bolt. It is was Luke, son of Hermes, stole the bolt for Kronos, who is attempt to come back to life. Grover goes off to find Pan, the lost Greek God of nature. Also they all had to find the stone in order to go to Underworld and leave the underworld, but their was only four people in the Underworld and 5 people: Percy, Annabeth, Grover and his mom. But Grover decided to stay in the Underworld, and Percy ask Zeus to bring him back when Percy save the Olympics by fighting with Luke. They water, 

I recommend this book to children because this book has many cool adventurous. It is fun to read and also you can use your imagination.  Also it is for children that like to read  book that cant happen in real life          ”fiction”.

New Moon by Stephenie Meyer is about,on Bella Swan’s 18th birthday, Edward Cullen, the vampire she loves, and his family throw her a birthday party. When she unwrapped her gift, she gets a paper cut, Edward’s brother, Jasper couldn’t take it no more because of her blood’s scent and try to kill Bella. Edward decides to end their relationship, and the Cullens move away from Forks just to protect Bella. Bella was very heart-broken and depressed.

In a few months, Bella learns how to ride a motorcycle, because she taught she would forget about Edward’s voice in her head. She also has more comfort friendship with Jacob Black, to lower Bella pain for Edward. Bella later discovers that Jacob and others members are gigantic wolf forms. Jacob and his pack protect Bella from the vampire Laurent and also Victoria, who wanted a revenge because the Cullens killed James, because of Bella.

Edward to believe that Bella has killed herself. Edward goes to Volterra, Italy to provoke the Volturi, vampire royalty who are capable of killing him. Alice and Bella rush to Italy to save Edward, arriving just in time to stop him. The Volturi tell Edward that Bella, a human who knows that vampires exist, must either be killed or transformed into a vampire. When they return to Forks, Edward tells Bella that he has always loved her and only left Forks to protect her. She forgives him, and the Cullens vote in favor of Bella being transformed into a vampire, to Edward’s dismay.  Edward gives Bella a choice: either she lets Carlisle change her after her graduation, or, if Bella agrees to marry him, he will change her himself.

This book I recommended it to any age, because it is fun to read!!! 

Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan it is about opens at boarding school where Grover has found a set (brother and sister) of half blood’s and in typical fashion a chase ensues.  The monster that was after the siblings was a manticore which is man with lion feature, a scorpion tail, and bat wings.  After Percy, Thalia, Anabeth, and Grover have met their match the Hunters led by the god Artemis swoop in to save them.  The ward off the manticore but not before he takes Anabeth.  Artemis vows to pursue the beast and demands the Hunters go to Camp Half Blood.  Even word reaches the camp that Artemis has been taken also.  Percy, Thalia, Grover and two Hunters are now charged with quest of finding Artemis, Anabeth, and figuring out what the horrible monster that could bring about the end of Olympus.

When Percy Jackson receives an urgent distress call from Grover, he immediately prepares for battle. He knows he’ll need his powerful demigod allies at his side, his trusty bronze sword, Riptide, and a ride from his mom. The demigods race to the rescue to find that Grover has made an important discovery two new powerful half bloods, whose parentage is unknown. The Titan lord, Kronos, has set up a devious trap, and the young heroes have just fallen prey.

This book I recommend it to children that are in books that are mystery and that have a lot of problems, because it has about 5 problems. Also it has action and the book is very adventurous, fun to read and it has cool places like Camp Half Blood.

In this book “Revenge of the Wannabes” by Lisi Harrison is about a clique novel. The characters are: Alicia Rivera who has a wallet stuffed with credit card and a closet full of expensive clothes, Massie Block who is the most popular girl in Briarwood, also known as the meanest girl is school. Claire Lyons who is a girl that was sad all the time because Massie treated her bad until she got in to her clique, Kristen Gregory who is friends with Alicia and Massie but she has to pick between Massie and Alicia, also Dylan Marvil who convinced that Massie is up to no good.

Alicia, Massie, Kristen and Dylan was in a clique called “ GLU”, but then Alicia won a uniform contest and they all turn there back on her. So Massie replace Alicia for Claire. Also Alicia make a decision to do her own clique and do better things in her clique like showing the boys how to get cute boys.

Massie still has a crush on Cam, and so does Claire. Cam asks Alicia to talk to Claire for him as he likes her, and she does, in front of Massie. Massie gets so jealous she makes Claire dump Cam, but her excuse was that Cam was an EW of Harris. Todd listens in on a sleepover with Kristen, Dylan and Massie while Claire sneaks off to see Cam (she ends up dumping him face to face). The three girls spill secrets, Massie’s being that she used to have a crush on Cam. Todd tells this to Alicia, who tells Claire, who is heartbroken that she was made to dump Cam for no reason, so she begins to ignore Massie and starts hanging out with Alicia. 

I recommend this book to kids because they have similar situation like Alicia. Also if they need help they just read the book and it might help them out. I really like this book because it could happen in real life, also is about gossip and many stuff.
